It's been a year

It's been a year since my last post! Wow! Anyway, our baby girl just had her 2nd birthday two weeks ago. I can't imagine that she just turned two! She is such a big girl now.

Some updates:
I have decided to switch my major to economics, and I have growing interest in statistics. I have been looking around and doing some research in graduate programs in statistics. My stats teacher recommend me to apply for the byu master of applied statistic. I am not quite sure if I can get in. My gpa isn't very good. Since I had my baby, I don't seem to be able to concentrate with my schooling. Anyway, I had a long talk with my stats teacher, and he said that I shouldn't let my baby be a distraction, but rather a motivation. I should be motivated by the goal that I want to provide a better life for her to work hard and study hard. I agree. I need to work harder. I sometime feel like such a fraud. I am graduating next april, but I feel like I haven't learn anything, I just do not know anything at all. However, my stats teacher told me that is how the undergraduate degree works, after you finish the degree, you will know a little bit of everything, just very basic stuff. To gain better knowledge, a master degree is essential. A lot of people think that they know everything after they get a bachelor degree, but it is just a beginning. Many many people have a bachelor degree, and you are just one of the million. To stand out, you need to pursuit higher education. He told me, only 1 % out of all the people who have a bachelor degree obtain a PhD, and when you get to that level, you would automatically stand out of the crowd. I am not sure if I would ever get to that level, but a master degree is a must for the profession I want to go into. Meidan pay of a statstian is 79000, which mean 50 % get pay less than 79000, and 50% get pay more than 79000. I would be happy if I am at least in the middle. I guess, I am talking too far. It might just be a dream that I can never reach. One thing worth mentioning is that my stats teacher is a statistic consular for the United Nation, and charge them $600 per hour!

Nails water transfer

Well, I have never been crazy about getting my nail done, but I can't resist to order this nails water transfer:

It just looks so cool on the nails, isn't it?

I ordered this from http://www.hailthenails.com. It only costed $6 for two sheet of 16 transfers with free shipping, you can't beat that!

I am excited to try it out, but first I need to go get myself some base coat and top clear coat. Did I say it right? I have no idea.

Anyway, it is shipping all the way from the UK. I hope they get here soon!

Happy first birthday to our wonderful baby girl

I have abandoned this blog for almost a year. Anyway, it was our baby girl first birthday yesterday.

Time flies. She is already one year old. She has learnt a lot and grew stronger and stronger during the past year. I still remember the day that she was born. I was in so much pain and that the delivery didn't go as plan. I was upset for a while because I had to have a C-section and couldn't see my baby being born. However, I am so grateful that she is healthy, strong and smart.

She constantly surprised me with how fast she pick up things. We love her so very much. My phone sd card is full and it makes it hard for me to just snap a picture real quick sometime. I haven't been taking pictures of my baby lately because of that. I need to empty my sd card.

Day 4 of 365 days photo challenge and baby blessing

It was Yoon Yoon's baby blessing yesterday. She looked very pretty with that dress on. I will post more pictures later as some of the pictures are in Jason's camera.

Yoon Yoon was eight weeks old yesterday and we blessed her at church yesterday. She was being very good. Every one kept saying how cute she was. She is a miracle to us. She is healthy and strong which is a great blessing to me, because I don't think I would be able to handle seeing her in pain or has to go through and deal with health problems.

Yoon Yoon, you are greatly loved! Daddy, Mommy, Po Po, Gong Gong, Grandma, Aunties, Uncles, cousins all love you so very much!

Day 3 of 365 days photo challenge

Daddy and baby
The people I love the most of the whole wide world! Jason tells me everyday how much he loves the baby! Who would imagine how much love you can have for a baby you only know for a few weeks? I felt in love with my little sweetheart the first time I saw her. I wasn't quite there but when I looked at my baby for the first time, I just couldn't give her up. She is mine!
