28 weeks prenatal visit

Well, I had my 28 weeks prenatal visit yesterday and had to do a glucose test. All the measurements are good. Baby heartbeat, belly size, and blood pressure are all good. My belly isn’t big at all, but I weight a ton! I have already gained 25 pounds…………..

After waiting for an hour, they drew my blood. It was painful. I just think that the medical assistant did not know how to do it because every time they do it, it hurts. When I went to the lab to get my blood drawn at the hospital, I didn’t feel a thing and it was done.

Anyway, the clinic called me today and told me that my number was high for the glucose test so I have to go do a three hour one tomorrow. I am not looking forward to it because I can’t eat or drink anything in an hour till the test is done tomorrow. I am going to be so so so hungry!

Baby is moving like crazy. She likes to kick, swim, and dance while I am trying to sleep. Sometime, it feels like she is jumping on a trampoline. I love all the movements she makes even though they contribute to my sleeping problem.

Twelve more weeks, still, 12 more weeks, we can’t wait to meet her and hold her. A lot of women say pregnancy is hard because they get sick and discomfort all the time. However, for me, the hardest part is that I have to wait nine months to see my baby! Why can’t it just be three months like tigers???

A little accident

I felt on my face last night while I was trying to go into the bathroom. It was so dark and I couldn't see. I tripped over a box on the floor. Jason was so scared and flew over and picked me up from the floor.

We were both really scared. Jason instantly asked me if the baby and I are ok. I told him I was ok and the baby was ok because I didn't fall on my belly. My arms and shoulders hurt so back right after I fell because I tried to support my whole body weight (and the baby) on my arms so that I wouldn't fall on my belly.

I went to the bathroom and continued on watching the move. Then, reality sunk in. I started to panic because the baby didn't move at all. She was moving like crazy right before I fell. I couldn't concentrate on the movie because I was paying attention to my belly, but she didn't really move.

When we went to bed, I said a prayer and asked Heavenly Father to bless the baby and keep her safe. She started to move while I was saying the prayer!

Well, then she was super hyper All Night Long!
